Pricing
We never take a cut from the recipient. The amount your customers choose is the amount that lands in your bank.
Fees your customers cover
These are the processing fees that Stripe and the payment networks charge. By default the tipper covers them — the amount they choose is the amount you receive.
| Method | Fee | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Apple Pay / Google Pay | About 3.0% of the tip | Fastest path — wallet sheet appears on tap. Tippers cover by default. |
| Credit or debit card | About 3.0% of the tip | Stripe processes; tippers cover the fee by default. |
| Pay by Bank (Open Banking) | £0.20 flat per tip | Cheapest option for the tipper. Money settles via Faster Payments in seconds. |
Tippers can choose to not cover the fees — in that case the fee comes out of the tip amount instead.
Frequently asked
- Why don't you charge a subscription?
- We earn a small platform fee on each tip, paid by the tipper. That keeps things simple for you — no fixed cost to worry about on a quiet week.
- When do I get paid?
- Tips arrive in your Stripe balance instantly. Stripe automatically pays out to your bank account daily by default — you can change the schedule in your Stripe dashboard.
- What if I want to refund a tip?
- Refunds are rare on tips, but they happen. Email us and we'll sort it via Stripe.
- Are you available outside the UK?
- Not yet. We're launching in the UK first; the Republic of Ireland is next on the list.
